How you will get the job done

• Develop and implement strategic digitalisation projects focused on (Gen)AI.
• Design and implement machine learning and AI solutions, particularly deep learning, considering the latest GenAI developments.
• Contribute to the development and production deployment of machine learning and (Gen)AI solutions, including model training, fine-tuning and prompt engineering, as well as continuous monitoring and optimization of methods and technologies.
• Work closely with IT and business units in agile, cross-functional teams to implement machine learning and (Gen)AI solutions.
• Help build and maintain a company-wide network that fosters a strong AI community.
• Bring work experience in the insurance industry.

Skills and experience you will need

• Fluent spoken and written English.
• University degree in Natural Sciences, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of relevant programming and modelling languages, such as Python (preferred) and R; business intelligence tools; and cloud technologies, such as Azure and AWS.
• Hands-on experience in statistical modelling, machine learning, AI and data visualization, complemented by knowledge of developing and using GenAI applications and large language models.
• Strong analytical skills and experience processing large structured, semi-structured and unstructured data sets, supplemented by experience with GenAI applications.
• Willingness to innovate and a proactive way of working, combined with the ability to think and act in a networked manner.
• Willingness to travel.

Nice to have

• Fluent spoken and written German.
• MLOps experience.
