What we achieve together

In this role, you actively shape the further development and stable operation of the central ServiceNow platform.

You develop, configure, and optimize ServiceNow applications and processes with a clear focus on developer activities.

  • Work with modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and Hardware and Software Asset Management (HAM/SAM).
  • Design and implement automations, workflows, and business logic to sustainably reduce manual effort.
  • Realize integrations with connected systems, such as infrastructure, monitoring, or asset systems, using REST APIs and web services.
  • Support the continuous development and quality assurance of the CMDB, including data models, relationships, and governance.
  • Collaborate closely with international IT teams, architects, and business departments to translate technical requirements into robust solutions.
  • Support platform upgrades, releases, and continuous improvements of the ServiceNow environment.

What makes us successful together

  • Qualification: Successfully completed vocational training or a degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
  • Experience: Several years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer or ServiceNow Specialist.
  • Expertise and skills: Strong knowledge in at least one of the following areas: ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, HAM, or SAM.
  • ServiceNow development experience using JavaScript, such as Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Flow Designer.
  • Experience with REST APIs, integrations, and automation solutions.
  • IT understanding: Good understanding of ITIL processes and IT service management concepts.
  • Way of working: Independent, structured, and solution-oriented work style; comfortable in agile and international teams.
  • Personality: Analytical thinking, hands-on mentality, team orientation, and high initiative.
  • Languages: Very good English; German is an advantage.
