Every day, you will evaluate and manage patients, maintain precise medical records, and fulfill administrative duties. You will comply with relevant healthcare programs, ethical directives, and hospital policies; participate in quality-improvement initiatives, peer review, and relevant committees; contribute to operational matters; provide on-call coverage; and pursue continuing medical education. To be successful in this role, you must commit to quality care, compliance, continuous learning, and active participation in hospital goals, including community benefit services and maintaining compensation model targets. Responsibilities - Provide the highest quality patient care. - Provide ambulatory care in the designated clinic. - See patients and perform professional and administrative duties. - Update and maintain medical records for examinations and services in accordance with policy. - Participate in and comply with sponsoring entities’ ethical and religious directives, Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal and state reimbursement plans. - Participate in and lead activities and initiatives that promote clinical and quality improvement. - Comply with hospital policies and procedures, financial reviews, utilization review/quality management, compliance and integrity programs, citizenship policies, and Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules, and Regulations. - Remain current on academic and applied developments in the field. - Maintain personal and professional knowledge and competence through continuing medical education, including applicable board certification. Compensation and Support The compensation package totals $525,162 annually and includes a starting bonus and relocation support. Job Requirements - Doctorate degree in Medicine (MD or DO). - Current and unrestricted physician license to practice in the applicable state. - Successful completion of a residency and/or fellowship commensurate with the specialty area. - Obtain and maintain unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration. - Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty through a board acceptable to the hospital. - Obtain medical staff privileges within the health system at the sponsoring institution. - Ability to meet medium-work requirements: lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs constantly.
