The role involves diagnosing and treating the full spectrum of heart conditions, from common to complex cases, within a multidisciplinary team of heart-failure specialists, electrophysiologists, interventionalists, invasive and noninvasive cardiologists, imaging and structural-heart specialists, cardiothoracic surgeons, advanced practitioners, and nurses.
Responsibilities
- Perform consults and diagnostic testing.
- Provide care in outpatient clinic and hospital settings.
- Collaborate closely with cardiac care teams, including the electrophysiology team.
- Participate in cardiac rehabilitation, noninvasive cardiac testing, and teaching of noninvasive and invasive fellows.
- Optional academic appointment at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and/or the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University.
Qualifications
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiology.
- Connecticut medical license.
- US ACGME-accredited residency training.
- Proficiency in TEE, stress testing, cardioversion, Holter monitoring, and related noninvasive cardiac procedures.
- Interest in cardiac rehabilitation, noninvasive cardiac testing, and fellow education.
- H-1B candidates accepted.

The position offers a collaborative, team-based care model focused on delivering high-quality care to the communities served.
