The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Thoracic Surgeon to join the Division of Cardiac, Thoracic & Vascular Surgery as an Assistant or Associate Professor. This is an opportunity to join an expanding academic practice at OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center, Oklahoma's only National Cancer Institute (NCI)-Designated Cancer Center, and help shape the future of thoracic oncology across the region.

The role is suited to candidates passionate about complex thoracic surgery, multidisciplinary cancer care, academic medicine, and building innovative clinical programs.

Clinical Practice

Develop a broad thoracic surgery practice that includes:

• Lung cancer and benign pulmonary disease
• Esophageal surgery

• Robotic and minimally invasive thoracic procedures

The role also includes expanding Oklahoma's statewide lung cancer screening program, including outreach through mobile screening initiatives.
