Job Summary and Responsibilities
As an Electrophysiology Cardiologist, you will join a collaborative cardiovascular team dedicated to clinical excellence, research, innovation, medical education, and care for patients with complex cardiac rhythm disorders.
You will provide comprehensive electrophysiology services, perform advanced device procedures and complex electrophysiology cases, collaborate with multidisciplinary cardiovascular specialists, and contribute to the continued growth and innovation of the Heart and Vascular Institute.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality electrophysiology procedures and complex electrophysiology lab cases, with a focus on exceptional patient outcomes.
- Diagnose and manage patients with a broad range of cardiac rhythm disorders.
- Utilize cutting-edge technologies and contribute to innovative treatment approaches within electrophysiology.
- Collaborate with service-line partners on clinical trials, research initiatives, and best-practice sharing.
- Participate in a high-quality, award-winning device clinic.
- Work closely with three dedicated Advanced Practice Providers supporting the electrophysiology service.
- Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, interventional cardiologists, general cardiologists, and cardiovascular care teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in resident, fellow, and medical student education.
- Conduct clinical research and scholarly activities in collaboration with faculty.
- Contribute to ongoing national and international cardiovascular device trials and research initiatives.
The program is designated as a TAVR, TEER, AFIB, Watchman, and LAAO Center of Excellence, with high procedural volumes and outstanding outcomes.

Job Requirements
Required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
- Valid and unrestricted medical license or eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Nebraska
Preferred
- Interest in academic medicine, research, and medical education

The Omaha market includes five hospitals providing inpatient and outpatient services across the metropolitan area within an integrated care system supported by more than 900 physicians and advanced practice clinicians representing over 40 specialties.
