Description

Provide comprehensive urgent care services as an NP during a 13-week locum assignment. You will assess and treat patients, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and develop individualized treatment plans. You’ll also document care accurately and educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests

• Prescribe medications and manage chronic conditions

• Provide patient education and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices

• Perform procedures as permitted by state regulations and NP specialty

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care

• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly

Requirements

• MSN degree focused on an NP specialty

• Active, unencumbered APRN license in South Carolina

• National NP certification in a relevant specialty area (e.g., AANP)

• At least one year of relevant clinical experience preferred
