Description

You’ll provide Primary Care services in a locum tenens assignment, conducting comprehensive assessments, diagnosing and treating a variety of conditions, and managing ongoing patient care. Responsibilities include ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, documenting visits thoroughly, and educating patients on healthy lifestyle choices. You’ll also collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treat medical conditions

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests

• Prescribe medications and manage chronic conditions

• Provide patient education and counseling

• Perform procedures as permitted by state regulations and NP specialty

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers

• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly

Requirements

• MSN degree focused on an NP specialty

• Active, unencumbered APRN license in Washington

• National NP certification in a relevant specialty area by a recognized certifying body

• Prior clinical experience (at least 1 year preferred)
