Description

Locum Primary Care NP assignment for 13 weeks starting 12/28/26. Work scheduled 5-day shifts (07:00–19:00) with no call. Provide comprehensive primary care services including assessment, diagnosis, testing, treatment planning, and chronic care management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Prescribe medications and manage chronic conditions
• Provide patient education and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices
• Perform procedures as permitted by state regulations and NP specialty
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers for coordinated care
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly

Requirements

• MSN degree focused on an NP specialty (e.g., family practice, adult-gerontology, pediatrics)
• Active, unencumbered APRN license in Minnesota
• National NP certification in a relevant specialty area by a recognized certifying body (e.g., AANP)
• At least 1 year of clinical experience in a relevant specialty setting (preferred)
