Description

Provide locum Gastroenterology advanced practice care in an acute care hospital with scheduled daytime coverage and no call.

You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe and manage medications, and educate patients. You will also perform procedures as permitted, collaborate with the healthcare team, and document care accurately.

Requirements

• MSN degree focused on an NP specialty

• Active and unencumbered APRN license in New York

• National NP certification in a relevant specialty area (e.g., AANP)

• Relevant clinical experience preferred (typically at least 1 year)
