Description

Provide a secure and safe environment for patients, visitors, physicians, personnel, and volunteers by patrolling and monitoring facility premises, observing and reporting suspicious or unauthorized activities, and addressing unsafe conditions. Perform access control and key management, provide emergency response and notification, assist staff/physicians/patients/visitors, and monitor or restrain violent patients as needed. Investigate and document incidents and serve as a liaison with local law enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor facility premises
• Observe, report, and document suspicious or unauthorized activity and unsafe conditions
• Manage access control and control of keys
• Provide emergency response and notification
• Assist staff, physicians, patients, and visitors; monitor and restrain violent patients when required
• Investigate and document incidents and coordinate with local law enforcement

Requirements

• HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
• PSO - Proprietary Private Security Officer certification/licensure
• 1 year recent relevant experience
• Available for variable full-time day schedule including every weekend
