Description

Provide a secure and safe environment that enables patients, visitors, physicians, personnel, and volunteers to deliver or receive quality services with minimal threats to personal well-being and property. Patrol and monitor facility premises, observe and report suspicious or unauthorized activities, and address unsafe conditions. Handle access control, key management, emergency response/notification, and assist with security-related services including monitoring and restraining violent patients when required.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor facility premises

• Observe, report, and document suspicious/unauthorized activities and unsafe conditions

• Provide access control and control of keys

• Respond to emergencies and provide notifications

• Assist staff, physicians, patients, and visitors with security-related services

• Monitor and restrain violent patients when required

• Investigate and document incidents

• Liaise with staff and local law enforcement agencies as needed

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED

• PSO (Proprietary Private Security Officer) within 30 days of start date

• 1 year of recent relevant experience

• Evening full-time schedule with weekend availability (every weekend)
