• Role: Security Officer II

• Shift: Nights (Full Time, 40 hours/week); variable schedule; weekend requirements (Saturday, Sunday)

• Pay Range: $30.35 to $42.48 per hour (based on primary work location)

Description

Provide a secure and safe environment in a healthcare setting. You will patrol and monitor facility premises, observe and report suspicious or unauthorized activities and unsafe conditions, and manage access control, key control, and emergency response/notification. You will also assist staff, physicians, patients, and visitors, including monitoring and restraining violent patients, and investigate and document incidents while liaising with local law enforcement.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED

• PSO (Proprietary Private Security Officer) certification/licensure

• 1-year recent relevant experience

• Ability to write incident reports and read business correspondence/procedure manuals

• Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public

• Basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide with whole numbers, fractions, decimals)

• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
