Description

Provide a secure and safe environment that allows patients, visitors, physicians, personnel, and volunteers to deliver or receive quality services with minimal threats to personal well-being and property. Patrol and monitor facility premises, observing and reporting suspicious or unauthorized activities and unsafe conditions. Manage access control and key control, and support emergency response and notification, including assistance and security services such as monitoring and restraining violent patients.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor facility premises

• Observe, report, and document suspicious or unauthorized activities and unsafe conditions

• Provide access control and key control

• Respond to emergencies with notification

• Assist staff, physicians, patients, and visitors

• Monitor and restrain violent patients

• Investigate and document incidents and liaise with local law enforcement agencies

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED

• PSO (Proprietary Private Security Officer) certification within 30 days of start

• 1 year of recent relevant experience

• Variable schedule with weekend availability (every weekend)
