Description

You will lead complex, long-term IT implementations with real ownership over project decisions and delivery outcomes. The role includes planning, task allocation, stakeholder progress reporting, risk and change management, and maintaining accurate schedules and technical and user-facing documentation. You will also coordinate internal and external communications and build client relationships during project meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle: planning, task distribution, and overall responsibility for delivery

• Monitor and report progress to ensure high execution quality

• Coordinate internal and external communications, including client relationship management during meetings

• Manage risk and change: identify threats, propose corrective solutions proactively

• Create and maintain up-to-date project schedules, technical specifications, and end-user instructions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (technical or business preferred)

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing complex, long-term projects in IT, Telco, or logistics

• English and French fluency (min. C1)

• Practical experience with Waterfall and/or Agile methodologies

• Ability to monitor progress precisely and manage time

• Readiness for regular onsite travel to Africa to work directly at the client site

• Analytical skills to translate client needs into concrete project tasks

• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and MS Office

• Openness to new technologies and ability to optimize work using AI tools

• Independent, responsible, systematic approach

• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, AgilePM, or Scrum
