Description

Lead complex, cross-functional technology transformation projects from initiation through implementation and transition to BAU. Drive delivery across application, infrastructure, architecture, operations, cyber security, risk, compliance, and external vendor teams. Establish governance aligned with organisational standards and regulatory requirements, and ensure senior management reporting with measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology transformation initiatives end-to-end (initiation to transition to BAU)

• Coordinate delivery across multiple technology and vendor teams

• Establish and maintain project governance aligned to standards, regulations, and delivery frameworks

• Manage scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, financials, and resource plans

• Coordinate technical remediation, operational resilience, service management, and operational improvement

• Facilitate decision-making and stakeholder alignment across technology and business

• Provide high-quality reporting and communication to senior management and governance forums

• Support solutions improving operational resilience, technology lifecycle management, service transparency, and regulatory compliance

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years managing large-scale IT or technology transformation projects

• Proven track record delivering complex initiatives involving multiple technology teams and platform/application owners

• Strong experience in project governance, risk/dependency management, financial control, resource planning, and executive reporting

• Solid understanding of enterprise IT environments (applications, infrastructure, IT service management, operational processes)

• Practical experience with technology lifecycle management, application portfolio management, software remediation, or technical debt reduction

• Experience driving change across application, infrastructure, and platform teams

• Experience in regulated environments, preferably financial services

• Strong understanding of technology risk management, operational resilience, and governance requirements

• Ability to translate regulatory and risk-driven requirements into practical delivery plans with measurable outcomes

• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders and operational/technical teams

• Strong facilitation and communication, including presentations to steering committees and governance forums

• Ability to resolve conflicts, drive decisions, and build alignment across stakeholders

• Very good English (spoken and written)
