Description

You will support the operation and further development of a location-spanning IT landscape, including servers, networks, clients, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and an MDM environment. The role includes laptop, smartphone, and tablet setup and maintenance, plus 1st/2nd-level support to analyze and resolve technical incidents. You will also help ensure security, availability, and compliance, and maintain documentation and standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and improve cross-location IT infrastructure (servers, networks, clients, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft 365, MDM)

• Set up, maintain, and replace end-user devices (laptops, smartphones, tablets)

• Provide 1st- and 2nd-level support (analyze technical issues, find suitable solutions, restore users’ ability to work)

• Coordinate with business departments and external IT service providers

• Help ensure security, availability, and compliance of IT systems

• Support the analysis and remediation of system incidents and IT security incidents

• Maintain and update documentation, standards, and procedures

Requirements

• Completed IT training (e.g., Fachinformatiker/in for System Integration) or comparable qualification

• First practical experience with Windows domains, Active Directory, Group Policy, or Microsoft 365

• Interest in IT infrastructure, IT security, and modern Microsoft environments; motivation to build skills through practical work

• Understanding that data protection, IT risks, and security requirements are key parts of professional IT work

• Analytical, structured, and reliable working approach; clear communication and teamwork

• Very good German language skills

• Driver’s license class B

• Willingness for occasional business travel between locations

• Knowledge in system or network administration is welcome but not required
