Description

You will shape digital processes and system capabilities behind creditworthiness and payment decisions. Working with developers, other Product Owners, and business teams, you translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria, coordinate priorities, dependencies, and testing, and deliver solutions from idea to go-live. You also drive modernization of legacy systems and take responsibility for end-to-end receivables, accounting, contract, and payment management.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT and digitalization projects from idea through go-live and evolve existing processes with business teams.
• Convert requirements into specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria; coordinate priorities, dependencies, and testing.
• Align with other Product Owners to develop integrated solutions for business applications, core systems, digital services, and interfaces.
• Evaluate solutions holistically and recommend options ranging from low-code/no-code and standard software to custom software.
• Manage technical legacy issues and develop modernization or replacement strategies, supporting implementation.
• Serve as a central contact for receivables management, accounting, and contract management; moderate workshops to bring perspectives to clear decisions.
• Develop key market-back-office processes including creditworthiness checks, information services, accounting and debtor management, receivables management, collections, and payment transactions.
• Ensure transparent requirements and well-aligned processes and digital solutions that deliver real value.

Requirements

• Degree or comparable qualification
• Multi-year experience in classic and agile project management (ideally in IT, financial services, or leasing)
• Skills in requirements management (analyze, document, and prioritize)
• Ideally experience/knowledge in credit checks, accounting, receivables, debtor management, collections, or payment transactions
• IT affinity and understanding of integrated business processes, interfaces, and mature system landscapes
• Clear communication plus structured, solution-oriented, and diplomatic working style
• Team collaboration with constructive alignment across Product Owners
• Experience with Jira and Confluence (or comparable tools) and interest in new approaches and AI tools
• German language skills
• Willingness to work hybrid: 3 days per week on-site in Hannover and 2 days from home
