Description

Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers to build full-stack and distributed microservices solutions that support regulatory needs. Partner with product managers and architects to deliver cloud-based experiences, set design/development/operations standards, and reduce technical debt through refactoring and performance improvements. Use modern languages, databases, containers, and AWS tooling while influencing long-term technical strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team and portfolio of diverse technology projects in distributed microservices and full-stack systems
• Collaborate with digital product managers and architects to define boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks
• Provide technical leadership and direction across Agile teams
• Identify improvement opportunities, refactor strategically, and reduce technical debt while enhancing system performance
• Evaluate emerging tools and practices in a “you build it, you own it” environment
• Mentor engineers and participate in internal/external technology communities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field
• 4+ years of software engineering experience
• 2+ years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure) or virtualization technologies
