Description

The team builds the platform layer behind an agentic, AI-powered digital workspace. You will design and operate large-scale distributed systems and create scalable front-end experiences, including asset metadata services, real-time customization, an enterprise design system, and governed search/discovery across web, mobile, and desktop.

You’ll own high-throughput indexing pipelines, region/tenant scaling for real-time customization services, and the search and discovery experiences that make the platform effortless.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of distributed systems; provide system-wide architectural guidance

• Build Agents to support onboarding and evaluation of enterprise governance across features and accounts

• Balance execution speed with architectural requirements; identify one-way door decisions that affect the long-term solution

• Drive engineering best practices and operational excellence across the team

• Solve complex technical problems with multiple risks and roadblocks

• Mentor and coach multiple engineers

• Communicate technical designs to both technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

• 2+ years of design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, scaling) for new and existing systems

• 1+ year of software development engineer (or related occupational) experience

• 1+ year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed applications/tools/systems/services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl

• 1+ year of Object Oriented Design experience

• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field

• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

• Base salary range: $143,700.00–$194,400.00 USD annually (USA, WA, Seattle)
