Description

You’ll lead frontend engineering for a consumer agent that monitors users’ money and markets, answers portfolio questions, and performs trades on their behalf. As the team’s frontend technical lead, you’ll own frontend experiences end to end across mobile and web and set the architectural and technical direction for conversational and real-time streaming interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Own frontend experiences for the agent end to end across mobile and web, including conversational interface, trading ideas experience, and entry points into the agent from across the app

• Build real-time, streaming interfaces for AI-driven advice, one-tap trade approvals, and autonomous execution with legible agent reasoning

• Set frontend architecture and technical direction across agentic surfaces (streaming state, real-time market data, conversational UX) and raise the bar via design reviews, standards, and mentorship

• Shape agent behavior through prompt engineering, evals, and conversation analysis

• Partner with design, backend engineering, and a registered investment adviser to ship features within regulatory guardrails

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional engineering experience shipping consumer-facing products at scale

• Expert-level mobile experience with React Native and native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin); experience across both platforms is a plus

• Proficiency in TypeScript and React

• Demonstrated technical leadership of frontend architecture across multiple product areas/platforms, including state management, API integration patterns, and performance improvements to latency or reliability; ability to guide other engineers

• Production experience building with LLMs for agentic systems (tool calling, streaming responses, conversational interfaces)

• Track record driving projects from zero to production with minimal oversight while owning product and technical decisions

• Backend experience (Go preferred) and familiarity with crypto, trading, or financial products are a plus

• Strong drive to improve productivity and code quality using the latest AI-driven coding best practices
