Description

You will enhance the HelloFresh app experience by delivering high-quality frontend features across mobile and web. The role involves owning frontend architecture and driving improvements to production monitoring, observability, testing, and release practices. You’ll also champion GenAI-enabled workflows to accelerate engineering, design, and testing while supporting platform scalability and AI-driven workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize customer-facing applications using React Native, React, Next.js, and TypeScript
• Drive frontend architecture and technical decisions; raise the bar through code reviews and mentoring
• Improve production monitoring, alerting, observability, testing, and release practices
• Collaborate with Product and Design to prototype, iterate, and deliver seamless user experiences
• Lead end-to-end initiatives by translating vision into structured implementation plans and guiding execution
• Champion modern AI tools and workflows to improve engineering efficiency, code quality, and standards

Requirements

• Deep expertise in React and TypeScript with hands-on React Native experience
• Proven delivery of production-grade frontend applications, architecture, and performance optimizations
• Hands-on GenAI experience using tools such as Claude Code and AWS Bedrock
• Practical familiarity with monitoring and observability frameworks in production
• Strong product and design judgment; ability to independently prototype and iterate
• Proactive, autonomous mindset and strong communication skills
• Bonus: Backend/API experience with Node.js, GraphQL, REST, or serverless architectures
• Nice to have: React Native native module integrations, mobile performance optimization, and New Architecture experience
