Description

You will lead IT implementation or advisory projects for the Insurance sector, bringing value through a mix of consulting capabilities, project management, and deep knowledge of insurance business processes and business models. The role spans end-to-end delivery, from project start to formal closure, managing timeline, scope, budget, risks, and dependencies. You will facilitate client workshops, support business analysis and solution design, and lead small agile cross-functional teams as a trusted industry advisor.

Responsibilities

• Lead insurance IT implementation or advisory projects and deliver business value

• Manage projects from initiation to formal closure, including timelines, scope, budget, risks, and dependencies

• Supervise and support business analysis and solution design by running client workshops and driving communication

• Act as a team leader for small agile cross-functional teams; support growth of junior team members

• Build relationships with key client stakeholders and be seen as a trustworthy advisor

• Lead or support B2B business development activities, including cross-selling and up-selling

• Coordinate preparation and presentation of proposals for clients’ decision makers

• Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, including in challenging or high-pressure situations

Requirements

• At least 7 years of professional experience in IT projects for Insurance, preferably in P&C lines

• Comprehensive understanding of how insurance carriers operate, including core business processes

• Experience in functional design and IT solution implementation as PM and/or Team Lead and/or Lead BA

• Proven ability to explain and apply a delivery methodology for planning, control, and risk management

• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to engage with clients, negotiate, and defend company interests

• Demonstrated ability to build a joint, high-performing team and resolve personal/team issues with limited support

• Strong analytical thinking and synthesis skills to ensure deliverable quality

• Creativity, resourcefulness, and proactivity in solving complex problems while applying economy-of-effort principles

• Ability to work full-time in Poland and the European Union

• Great command of English (at least C1)
