Description

Lead the IT infrastructure support function to ensure the reliable operation of IT systems for a logistics-focused enterprise. You will manage a small team, provide technical support and internal trainings, and administer server/network infrastructure including LAN/WAN. You will also coordinate hardware/software rollouts and internal IT projects while overseeing task delivery and working with external service providers.

Responsibilities

• Organize the support team’s work and ensure uninterrupted operation of IT systems

• Provide comprehensive technical support to users, including advice and internal training

• Administer server infrastructure (physical and virtual) and maintain the local network (cabling, active equipment, LAN/WAN)

• Work with database systems: write SQL queries and reporting

• Implement new hardware and software solutions; coordinate internal IT projects

• Delegate tasks and ensure timely, high-quality execution

• Coordinate with external service providers and authorized service centers

Requirements

• Prior experience in a leadership/coordinator/management role in IT infrastructure

• Confident Windows Server administration and VMware virtualization configuration

• Strong knowledge of network services: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and how computer networks work

• Very good SQL skills and experience with relational databases

• Higher education in IT (minimum engineering degree)

• Analytical problem solving, independence, and strong communication

• Active driver’s license category B
