Description

Lead and evolve the organization’s IT infrastructure and the associated teams, aligning IT services with business requirements and ensuring reliable operations. You will define and implement the enterprise-wide IT strategy for infrastructure, drive continuous IT process improvements, and steer infrastructure-related IT projects. The position includes management of four departments (about 30 employees) with responsibility for budget and personnel planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and align IT infrastructure and related teams with business needs

• Manage four departments with ~30 employees, including budget and personnel planning

• Define and implement the enterprise-wide IT strategy for this area

• Ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations and continuously improve IT processes

• Steer IT projects in IT infrastructure

• Support personal and professional development of employees and motivate high performance

• Collaborate with relevant IT and business stakeholders

Requirements

• Completed technical degree, technical apprenticeship, or comparable qualification

• Extensive leadership experience in IT infrastructure (preferably in manufacturing)

• Broad practical expertise in network infrastructure, server landscapes, virtualization, storage, backup systems, and IT security

• Experience operating IT infrastructure, delivering IT projects, and IT service management

• Responsible, solution-oriented, and structured working style

• Targeted leadership and implementation of IT projects

• Strong communication and motivation skills; reliable and organized

• Empathetic team leadership combined with strong management capability under high workload

• ISMS knowledge and ISO 27001 are advantageous

• Very good German and English; willingness to travel
