Description

Lead and develop the IT infrastructure team and ensure a stable and secure IT infrastructure at the Kaiserau site. Administer and optimize Windows client/server systems, Active Directory, M365, Intune, and endpoint security, and further develop the Microsoft Azure environment based on existing landing zones. Plan infrastructure projects, manage external service providers, and provide technical support and escalation for complex incidents, including collaboration with international locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the IT infrastructure team (technical and disciplinary) and support their growth

• Ensure and continuously improve stable and secure IT infrastructure

• Administer the Microsoft system landscape (Windows client/server, Active Directory, M365, Intune, endpoint security)

• Expand, administer, and develop Microsoft Azure based on existing landing zones

• Plan and implement IT infrastructure projects and coordinate external vendors

• Provide expert support for complex issues and take escalation lead within the team

• Collaborate with international sites

Requirements

• Completed IT vocational training as IT Specialist for System Integration (m/w/d) or comparable qualification

• Several years of leadership experience in an IT environment

• Long-term experience in administration and operations of Windows client and server infrastructures

• Very good knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Group Policies, and centralized client services

• Solid knowledge of IT security and endpoint security

• Structured, service-oriented way of working

• Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on mentality

• Team spirit and strong communication skills

• Sense of responsibility

• Fluent German and good English skills
