Description

Use your medical expertise to shape software solutions that support everyday work of healthcare professionals. You will define product vision and direction, translate healthcare requirements into development-ready specifications, and prioritize what delivers the most value. You will also validate solution impact in practice and incorporate legislation and healthcare trends into the product.

Responsibilities

• Own the development of a product area from the perspective of functionality and user benefit

• Define product vision and development direction with leadership and the team

• Convert medical/healthcare requirements into clear tasks and specifications for development

• Prioritize requirements and decide what brings the highest value to the product

• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and consultants

• Test and verify proposed solutions and their real-world impact

• Monitor healthcare legislation and trends and reflect them in the product

Requirements

• Physician background and motivation to apply experience outside clinical practice

• Ability to understand healthcare realities and translate them into system solutions

• Interest in product management or willingness to grow in this field

• Ability to decide, prioritize, and take responsibility for results

• Ability to communicate across expert domains (physicians × IT)

• Creativity with analytical thinking

• No prior IT or product management experience required; willingness to learn is important
