Description

Own and manage a group of products across the full product lifecycle. Analyze market, competition, sales, and cost data to support business recommendations, while coordinating new product implementations and modifications to existing products. Interpret technical standards and product documentation, maintain technical documentation, and provide product trainings and technical support to internal teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage a product group throughout the entire lifecycle

• Analyze market, competition, and trends; identify development opportunities

• Initiate and coordinate implementations of new products and modifications

• Lead or participate in product certifications

• Analyze product, sales, and cost data; prepare business recommendations

• Interpret standards, technical requirements, and product documentation

• Create and update technical documentation

• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Procurement, Marketing, Sales/Trade

• Deliver product trainings and provide technical support to customers and employees

Requirements

• Higher technical education (preferred: construction, materials engineering, or related) or economics education with practical experience in building materials

• Experience as a Product Manager or in a similar technical product-related role (e.g., Technical Advisor, Product Specialist, Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Representative)

• Very good knowledge of MS Excel and data analysis

• Ability to draw sound conclusions from market and competitive analysis

• Comfort working with standards, technical sheets, and product documentation

• Independence, strong organization, and ability to manage several projects at once

• Ability to work under time pressure; initiative and responsibility

• Curiosity and openness to questioning existing approaches

• Driving license category B

• Nice to have: experience in roofing/building materials, knowledge of new product development and implementation processes, ERP experience, communicative English
