Description

Lead a systems engineering team and remain a hands-on technical authority. Design, develop, and maintain information systems and applications supporting manufacturing and logistics processes, translating business and customer needs into functional and system solutions. Coordinate development, implementation, integration testing, and deployment, while contributing to ERP/MES/WMS integration and long-term improvements for complex technical and process issues.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the systems engineering team
  • Propose, develop, and maintain systems and applications for manufacturing and logistics
  • Analyze business/customer requirements and convert them into functional and system solutions
  • Design and evolve system architecture, processes, data flows, and system integrations
  • Coordinate development, implementation, integration testing, and go-live
  • Collaborate on the development and integration of ERP, MES, WMS, and other production systems
  • Diagnose complex technical and process problems, identify root causes, and propose long-term corrective actions
  • Manage project priorities, capacities, and team work plans
  • Set and maintain system and technical standards
  • Communicate with customers and internal teams (production, logistics, management)
  • Support transformation, digitization, and automation projects
  • Report results, project status, and department KPIs

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Systems Engineer, Systems Analyst, Solution Architect, or similar technical/analytical role
  • Experience leading people, ideally a technical team
  • Solid orientation in system design, system architecture, and solution development/implementation lifecycle
  • Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications
  • Analytical and technical mindset; ability to trace problems across systems and processes
  • Integration experience; knowledge of SAP or another ERP is an advantage
  • Advantage: MES, WMS, EDI/B2B, databases, APIs, or programming knowledge
  • Advantage: experience with integration, regression, or end-to-end testing
  • Ability to coordinate activities across multiple technical and business teams
  • Communicative English for collaboration with international customers and partners
  • Advantage: experience from a manufacturing environment and knowledge of manufacturing/warehouse/logistics processes
