Description

You will lead and grow a technology team in line with business needs, combining people leadership with a strong technical and product mindset. The role focuses on setting team structure and career paths, improving team processes and development quality, and partnering with the CTO, Scrum Master, and stakeholders. You will also actively explore and apply AI in development and engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead and further develop the technology team, including development, DevOps, and support
• Define team structure, career paths, and support professional growth
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and employee development
• Manage team and individual performance using KPI and regular feedback
• Improve development quality and team process efficiency
• Collaborate with the CTO, Scrum Master, and key stakeholders
• Act as a partner for business, customers, and external partners when needed
• Identify opportunities to use AI in development and engineering processes
• Contribute to budget planning and technology/tooling decisions

Requirements

• Technical background (experience in development or long-term software development experience)
• 3+ years of direct people management, ideally for a team of 10+ members
• Experience with product development and a product mindset
• Hands-on experience with agile practices (Scrum, Kanban)
• Experience with hiring, onboarding, and performance management
• Ability to set up structure and processes so the team can grow without unnecessary bureaucracy
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to connect development needs, operations needs, and business needs
• Ownership, independence, pragmatic approach, and natural leadership
