Description

Coach, grow, and partner with customer-facing Solutions Architects to develop industry-leading cloud and AI solutions. Drive revenue growth by enabling solution selling and ensuring architectures are designed for successful deployment in the cloud. Collaborate with Sales, Services, Business Development, and Field Marketing on strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Ensure success in building AI solutions, migrating applications, and services to the AWS platform
• Hire, onboard, train, and develop Solutions Architects from internal and external sources
• Educate customers on AWS value proposition and participate in architectural discussions
• Coach Solutions Architects to deliver one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions that transfer deep technical skills to customers
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge across the Solutions Architect community
• Guide creation of whitepapers, datasheets, and other customer-facing guidance
• Build relationships with customer decision makers to enable them as AI and Cloud advocates
• Serve as a conduit and liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support

Requirements

• 10+ years of enterprise IT application work, including 2+ years hands-on software development or DevOps engineering
• 2+ years architecting/operating solutions on any cloud provider (AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI, etc.)
• 8+ years technology solutions development and evangelising end-to-end technology roadmaps for cloud transformations
• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience leading and growing teams of senior technology professionals (ideally in customer-facing roles)
• Ability to travel up to 30%
