Description

As a Solution Architect, you’ll work within a cross-functional team to define business goals, gather requirements, and create business, information, and technology architectures that satisfy key quality and constraint requirements. The role includes building an architecture vision through trade-off analysis, proof of concepts, and benchmarking, while maintaining clear architecture documentation and decision records. You will also review and validate downstream design decisions to ensure alignment with the overall architecture vision.

Responsibilities

• Identify key business stakeholders and establish communication
• Gather business goals, objectives, functionality, quality characteristics, and constraints
• Elaborate business, information, and technology architecture mapping
• Create an architecture vision using trade-off analysis, proof of concept, and benchmarking
• Set up and manage architecture design and documentation processes
• Document and communicate architecture decisions and trade-offs to stakeholders
• Review and validate downstream design decisions

Requirements

• Fluent English
• 7+ years of commercial software development experience
• 3+ years of commercial solution architecture design experience
• Experience with data management, data integration, and data transformation approaches
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration
• Understanding of SDLC processes and their reasoning
• Experience guiding software development, testing, deployment, and project management
• Excellent knowledge in computer science and computing theory
• Strong architectural & design patterns knowledge and related principles
• Knowledge of database theory and code testing practices
• Practical experience with microservices architecture
• Cloud technologies: Microsoft Azure
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Databricks, Azure Service Bus
• Database experience: Microsoft SQL, MongoDB
• .NET 10
