Description

As a Solutions Architect, you will translate complex business, regulatory, and operational requirements into pragmatic cloud solution architectures and oversee implementation. You’ll design end-to-end architectures across application, data, integration, identity, security, and infrastructure—ensuring performance, scalability, security, and compliance. You’ll also support pre-sales activities and guide delivery from conception through go-live.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex business, regulatory, and operational requirements into solution architectures using cloud deployment models
• Partner with sales and account teams on pre-sales engagements (discovery, solution shaping, technical due diligence)
• Create solution proposals, architecture overviews, and high-level estimates for RFPs, RFIs, and bids
• Define end-to-end architectures across application, data, integration, identity, security, and infrastructure
• Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, security, and regulatory requirements before production deployment
• Align solutions with enterprise architecture principles, cloud governance, and financial-services compliance obligations
• Produce and maintain architecture artifacts (architecture diagrams, design specifications, integration models)
• Lead solution definitions from pre-sales through implementation and go-live; provide hands-on consulting and coordinate with engineering, platform, security, and operations
• Support production readiness (operational design, monitoring, support models, handover)

Requirements

• Proven experience in an architecture role (or similar) in a technology-driven environment
• Expertise in designing and implementing complex, scalable, resilient, and secure systems with high-volume transaction processing and systems integration
• Commercial awareness (effort estimation, delivery assumptions, solution feasibility)
• Software development experience in multiple programming languages with strong Java skills
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior audiences
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and relevant tools/deployment patterns
• Desirable: prior experience in Financial Services or Capital Markets
