Description

You will lead and mentor an IT engineering team and ensure high-quality delivery for internal business clients. You will align engineering execution with strategic business goals in close cooperation with Product Owners and other team leads, and support hiring and the rollout of IT policies and processes. You will also ensure compliance with regulations related to data protection and information security.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor IT engineers and consultants
  • Co-create and execute strategic company goals
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners and leaders of other teams to align engineering with business objectives
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (data protection and security)
  • Participate in recruiting to meet company development goals
  • Support development and implementation of company-aligned policies and processes
  • Work with international teams and stakeholders to identify needs and develop solutions

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of IT industry experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing IT teams
  • Fluent German (C1+) in speaking and writing
  • Fluent English (B2+) in speaking and writing
  • Fluent Polish (C1+) in speaking and writing
  • Bachelor’s/engineering degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Leadership and team management experience using Agile methodology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in IT management
