Description

You will design, build, and evolve reliable, scalable backend services (primarily in Go) that power the platform at scale. You will influence architectural decisions across domain modeling, service boundaries, and infrastructure/deployment strategy, while improving performance and reliability. You’ll own complex technical initiatives end-to-end—from design through production rollout—and write clean, well-tested production-grade code.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve high-traffic backend services (primarily in Go)
• Lead and influence architectural decisions (domain modeling, service boundaries, infrastructure and deployment)
• Drive the evolution of the service platform with senior/lead engineers
• Identify performance bottlenecks and propose scalable, long-term solutions
• Own initiatives end-to-end from design to production rollout
• Produce clean, well-tested production-grade code and raise engineering standards

Requirements

• Strong experience building production-grade backend systems
• Solid understanding of software design principles, distributed systems, and API design
• Experience with databases
• Experience with messaging systems
• Experience with service-oriented or event-driven architectures
• Ability to reason about concurrency, performance, and reliability
• Confidence participating in architectural discussions and technical decision-making
• Write clean, well-tested, production-grade code
