Description

You will develop and maintain backend services using Go (and React if you have Fullstack experience) in a modern product environment. You will implement features based on high-level product requirements, collaborating with Product Managers and Designers to clarify scope, purpose, and expected behavior. The role emphasizes ownership across the full development lifecycle and fast CI/CD delivery, supported by AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Go (and React if you’re a Fullstack profile)

• Build features from high-level product requirements with Product and Design teams

• Own the full lifecycle: coding, testing, creating pull requests, and releasing to production

• Write and maintain automated tests for code quality and reliability

• Work within fast CI/CD pipelines where changes reach production shortly after approval

• Collaborate with distributed teams with an emphasis on autonomy and accountability

• Identify blockers early and proactively seek clarification or support

• Contribute to technical discussions and continuously improve engineering practices

• Use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude, Cursor or similar)

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Go (Golang)

• Solid experience building backend systems and APIs in a production environment

• Experience working in product-focused engineering teams

• Understanding of modern practices: code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines

• Familiarity with cloud-based environments, preferably AWS

• Experience using AI development tools as part of the engineering workflow

• Ability to work effectively in a high-autonomy environment with minimal supervision

• Strong problem-solving skills and a sense of ownership

• Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)
