Description

Design and develop Go-based microservices and APIs (REST/gRPC), integrating with external services and defining API contracts. Optimize performance and latency, design database schemas and migrations, and build event-driven integrations. Ensure quality through tests and code reviews, and maintain observability and reliability (logging, metrics, alerting, tracing) while contributing to architectural decisions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial backend development, including 3+ years with Golang
• Proficient Go skills: context handling, concurrency (goroutines/channels), profiling (pprof), gRPC/REST, generics, modularity
• Strong backend architecture, API design, microservices, and distributed systems knowledge
• Database experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL, plus Redis; schema design, indexing, and transactions
• Event-driven integration experience with Kafka or NATS
• CI/CD experience with GitLab CI and deployment patterns (blue-green/rolling), plus migrations
• Testing experience in Go (unit/integration/e2e), including Go testing frameworks
• Security knowledge: OAuth2 and JWT
• Understanding of DDD, SOLID, 12-factor methodology, and observability (Prometheus/Grafana, OpenTelemetry)
• Russian C1 or higher and English B1 or higher
