Description

As a Product Manager Intern, you will define product vision and strategy by leveraging a deep understanding of the customer experience and the competitive market. You will identify short- and long-term investment opportunities, evaluate tradeoffs, and help drive the product roadmap. You will also build consensus on product strategy, features, vision, and goals for a specific product or set of features.

Responsibilities

• Identify customers’ unmet or unknown needs and market opportunities using quantitative and qualitative analyses; scope the impact of problems.
• Drive and track Key Results, success criteria, and performance metrics; partner with engineering teams to define needed data and ensure telemetry is developed.
• Prioritize features/experiences for the roadmap to support success criteria and OKRs; gather input on priorities, resources, and delivery outcomes for a feature.
• Iterate on designs with Design and engineering teams; facilitate reviews (UX, system designs, data designs) with customers (e.g., regulators, engineers, policy makers) to ensure usability and meet accessibility criteria.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing and Business Planning to identify product release criteria, customer acquisition, and usage.
• Monitor progress, derive insights, and recommend actions to improve product/feature development and implementation.
• Build trust with customers by capturing feedback and insights throughout the product development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree with at least one semester/term remaining after the internship.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Preferred: experience in product/service/project/program management or software development (or equivalent).

Benefits

• Base pay range: USD $5,690.00–$11,210.00 per month (other location ranges apply).
• Different base pay range for roles in the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area: USD $7,410.00–$12,250.00 per month.
