Description

The Director of Product Management leads product strategy and execution by turning market needs into highly usable software. The role partners with operations, product, and technology to align stakeholders and drive a single product vision while managing the internal product roadmap. You will also perform product discovery, market research, and documentation from requirements through solution architecture and product specs.

Responsibilities

  • Define system requirements that meet changing market needs and ensure customer satisfaction and product quality
  • Coordinate with operations, product, and technology to align divergent ideas to a single product vision
  • Manage the internal product roadmap: document product strategy, maintain feature backlog, and coordinate releases
  • Analyze product inputs and conduct product discovery; document customer requirements
  • Design solution architectures and develop business cases for new product development
  • Prepare software design plans including product specifications, use case documentation, and UI wireframes
  • Organize market research (customer segments, industry reports, competitor strengths/weaknesses)
  • Study healthcare industry standards and stay current on compliance and industry changes

Requirements

  • College degree required; Business or Computer Science preferred
  • Strong written communication skills to convey complex ideas
  • Ability to facilitate, negotiate, and persuade stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to usability/customer experience
  • Comfortable communicating complex information (e.g., whiteboard) concisely and thoroughly
  • Flexible and agile in response to changing situations and inputs
  • Strong work ethic and ability to execute independently
