Description

As a Product Design Intern, you’ll solve real design challenges that help simplify modern work across Atlassian products. You’ll partner with product managers, engineers, researchers, and senior designers to understand customer needs, evaluate technical constraints, and make informed design decisions. You’ll use research insights, product data, technical prototyping, and usability testing to iterate quickly and improve shipped experiences.

Responsibilities

• Apply strong interaction, visual, and systems-design craft to turn ambiguous customer problems into simple, accessible product experiences

• Partner with product managers, engineers, researchers, and senior designers to understand customer needs and technical constraints

• Use research insights, product data, technical prototyping, and usability testing to explore assumptions and iterate quickly

• Contribute to design systems, patterns, and documentation while learning how AI and connected teamwork shape modern collaboration at scale

Requirements

• Able to commit to a 12-week full-time (40 hrs/week) program during Summer 2027

• Currently enrolled full-time in a 4-year bachelors or 2-year masters degree program and returning after completion, graduating by June 2028

• Entry-level only: less than a year of professional experience (excluding internships/co-ops)

• Willing and able to work out of the Pacific Time Zone (PT)

• Not eligible for F1 and J1 students

• Not available for any work sponsorship
