Description

You will manage and structure the IT hardware warehouse in Alsfeld and ensure colleagues are fully equipped from day one. The role includes receiving, storing, shipping, swapping, and returning devices, maintaining inventory in the system, and coordinating repairs and warranty cases. You will also support rollouts, technical installations, and occasional site moves.

Responsibilities

• Maintain oversight of the IT hardware warehouse and ensure clear processes
• Equip new colleagues with working devices and everything they need
• Send out, swap, and take back devices to support smooth daily operations
• Check deliveries, store hardware properly, and update inventory reliably in the system
• Coordinate repairs and warranty cases independently, including returns tracking
• Assist with moves, rollouts, and technical installations at company locations

Requirements

• Structured, orderly, and reliable working style; ability to handle multiple tasks at once
• Enjoy organizing and hands-on execution
• Ideally experience in logistics, warehousing, shipping, office management, or a comparable area
• Confident handling of common devices such as laptops and smartphones (specialized IT knowledge not required)
• Solution-oriented approach; independent handling of challenges and clear team communication
• Very good German skills in written and spoken communication
• Valid B-class driver’s license; willingness to drive occasionally to other sites
• Live in the Alsfeld/Vogelsberg area or within commuting distance (on-site)
• No classic IT training required; reliability and organization skills are key
