Description

You’ll be one of the first IT specialists at a new warehouse site, ensuring warehouse technologies run reliably from the start. The job covers installation, configuration, device/process setup for daily operations, incident response, and support for warehouse users and the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Your work directly impacts order picking speed, shipping accuracy, and smooth warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage warehouse devices: install, configure, and support Zebra mobile terminals, barcode scanners, thermal printers, packing stations, information screens, and PCs

• Diagnose and resolve issues: troubleshoot hardware and software problems

• Provide WMS support: user support for the Warehouse Management System

• Coordinate repairs: work with external vendors for device repairs

• Support operations: respond to incidents and minimize downtime

• Help warehouse teams: assist pickers, packers, and shift leads with technical problems

• Device inventory: maintain records, assign devices, and process returns

• Basic network administration: check warehouse network infrastructure and assist with Wi‑Fi, printer connectivity, and mobile terminal outages

• Escalate when needed: hand off complex network problems to specialized IT teams

• Documentation & process improvement: keep up-to-date device records and IT documentation; contribute to more efficient solutions

• Collaboration: work closely with Warehouse Operations and experienced IT specialists

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in IT support or very good technical hardware knowledge

• Familiarity with Windows and Android

• Basic computer network knowledge (Wi‑Fi, DHCP, basic routing)

• Willingness to work directly in warehouse operations

• Ability to communicate with users and solve problems practically

• English communication skills
