Description

You will ensure smooth, reliable IT operations for the data center and peripheral systems, including support and maintenance within defined service levels (SLAs). You will administer and evolve IT systems, networks, infrastructure, and related hardware/software (including Aruba, VMware, and Veeam). You will also manage system databases, user/access and license management, security (backup, data protection, access control, antivirus), and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.

Responsibilities

• Ensure functional IT and uninterrupted operations for the data center and peripheral systems

• Manage and perform support and maintenance while meeting SLAs

• Connect, administer, extend, further develop, and migrate IT systems, networks, infrastructure, machine controls, and hardware/software (e.g., Aruba, VMware, Veeam)

• Administer and monitor system databases (MSSQL, MySQL, Postgres)

• Handle permissions and user management, as well as license management

• Ensure data and system security (backup, data protection, access control, antivirus, attacks)

• Coordinate with external partners, software and hardware vendors, and service providers

• Document systems and provide training; support administration of the central IT area

• Provide end-user support for hardware and software problems

• Conduct error analysis and resolve issues for software applications

Requirements

• Completed IT training or equivalent qualification

• Relevant professional experience with very good knowledge in administering Microsoft Windows and Linux server/client systems

• Independent and concept-driven working style
