Description

You will actively help shape a newly merged IT landscape by migrating and harmonizing systems of two established partners. In this customer-facing role, you will administer and monitor server, network, and cloud environments for both the company and external customers while providing 1st and 2nd level IT support. You will also manage client and employee IT operations (Microsoft 365, Active Directory) and implement IT security and backup strategies.

Responsibilities

• Support the migration and harmonization of the IT landscapes from both merger partners using your own creative solution approaches

• Administer and monitor server environments (Windows/Linux), networks (LAN, WAN, VPN), and cloud environments for the company and customers

• Serve as a central point of contact for customers

• Provide intensive IT support at 1st and 2nd level: resolve technical requests and advise customers on using their systems

• Manage client systems (Microsoft 365, Active Directory) and ensure smooth IT operations for staff at both locations

• Implement IT security and backup strategies for the merged company and for customer environments

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in IT system integration, an IT degree, or a comparable qualification with relevant experience

• In-depth IT administration knowledge and strong service orientation for external customer support

• Willingness to embrace change and think creatively (“out of the box”), especially during system consolidation

• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of daily customer interaction (phone-affine)

• Ability to stay calm and effective even with many parallel customer requests

• Class B driver’s license and willingness to regularly commute between Ravensburg and Lindenberg
