Description

You will advise and support internal and external IT customers by analyzing and optimizing IT infrastructures and developing tailored solution approaches. The role includes planning and implementing customer projects such as introducing new technologies, performing migrations, and optimizing existing systems. You will also provide on-site and remote technical support to ensure smooth IT operations and solve complex issues.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and optimize IT infrastructures and develop customized solution concepts

  • Plan and implement customer projects, including new technology introductions, migrations, and system optimization

  • Provide technical support on-site and remotely; ensure reliable day-to-day IT operations

  • Administer networks, servers, and security solutions in the customer environment

  • Contribute to the continuous strategic development of IT infrastructure and IT security environments

  • Administer and expand the Windows EGT domain infrastructure and maintain internal network and security structure

  • Manage data backups and recovery processes

  • Support the IT on-call service (about once per month)

  • Train and advise customers on effective use of new IT solutions

Requirements

  • Completed IT training (e.g., IT specialist) or comparable qualification

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position

  • In-depth knowledge of server, network, backup, and security technologies

  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies

  • Independent, solution-oriented working style with high motivation

  • Enjoyment in advising customers as an IT service provider

  • Reliability, service orientation, and resilience

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Forward-thinking approach to planning and implementing new IT solutions and managing small IT infrastructure projects

  • Very good German (C2) and good English (C1)

  • Willingness to work at the main site in Triberg (20–30% home office after onboarding)
