Description

Support electrical power distribution design from scope through construction, working with senior engineers. Develop NEC-compliant electrical deliverables and coordinate across design, manufacturing, and construction partners to drive projects through energization.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical power distribution design from scope through construction
• Apply the NEC to develop code-compliant designs
• Coordinate with Design Managers, Manufacturing, Construction, and other stakeholders
• Prepare IFP/IFC electrical deliverables in Revit MEP (single-line diagrams, panel schedules, grounding drawings, underground conduit drawings, power plans, lighting layouts)
• Perform field walks and surveys with peers and Construction
• Review equipment submittals and specifications with guidance from senior engineers
• Answer RFIs and resolve design questions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• 0–2 years of electrical design experience (internships/co-ops with MEP design and Revit considered)
• Ability to prepare and complete electrical deliverables using Revit MEP
• Coursework or experience using the NEC to size overcurrent protection, conductors, and grounding
• Exposure to low voltage distribution design (480V to 120V)
• Highly organized; able to prioritize and comfortable working across disciplines
