Description

Lead electrical designs for manufacturing equipment, building infrastructure, energy storage, EV charging, and R&D test setups. Prepare IFC/IFP drawing packages in Revit and run electrical studies (arc flash, fault current, voltage drop, coordination, transient, and harmonic). Work cross-functionally and with external EPC firms, vendors, and contractors to deliver scalable, code-compliant, constructable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs for power distribution, grounding, lighting, and controls
• Prepare and oversee IFC (Issued for Construction) and IFP (Issued for Permit) drawing packages using Revit
• Conduct and direct electrical studies: arc flash hazard assessments, fault current analyses, voltage drop calculations, selective coordination, transient analyses, and harmonic studies
• Produce first-principles electrical design solutions balancing performance, constructability, and cost
• Track team KPIs, prepare impact reports, and deliver executive-level status updates
• Allocate resources across multiple concurrent projects to meet on-time delivery
• Partner with stakeholders across product verticals to refine scopes and validate feasibility
• Interface with EPC firms, vendors, and contractors during bidding, procurement, and construction
• Present concepts, progress, and risks during milestone reviews
• Collaborate with multi-discipline engineers and trades; perform field walks to verify installation adherence

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• 5–7 years of relevant experience
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.), with preference for CA, CO, NV, TX
• Demonstrated experience across 12V to 35kV systems, including low/medium/high voltage power distribution
• Proficiency in Revit MEP (advanced modeling, BIM coordination, panel scheduling, circuiting)
• Proficiency in ETAP, SKM, or equivalent for fault current, arc flash, transient, harmonic, and coordination studies
• In-depth knowledge of NEC, California Building Code (CBC), California Energy Code (Title 24), and NFPA standards
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a high-velocity environment
• Construction administration experience (site observation; review of RFIs, submittals, shop drawings) and familiarity with OSHA
• Willingness to travel up to 33%

Expected Compensation

$87,020 - $185,820 annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits.
