Description

You will lead electrical designs for complex manufacturing campuses, supporting concept work, electrical studies, and permitting-to-construction drawing completion. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external EPC firms, review submittals and shop drawings for quality and constructability, and share progress at project milestone reviews. The role also includes electrical studies (arc flash, fault current, voltage drop, and selective coordination), distribution planning, and cost estimation support via comparative BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical designs, concept evaluations, and construction drawing completion for permits and execution
• Review submittals, vendor shop drawings, and designs for quality control, constructability, and cost
• Interface with external EPC firms during bidding and execution to ensure compliance with engineering standards
• Collaborate with manufacturing, construction, and facilities teams to meet end-user needs and resolve cross-discipline design issues
• Present electrical design concepts and progress at project milestone reviews
• Conduct electrical studies (arc flash, fault current, voltage drop, selective coordination) and distribution planning for infrastructure upgrades
• Assess new projects and prepare comparative BOMs for cost estimation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience with evidence of exceptional ability
• Expert knowledge of Revit MEP
• Experience with SKM Dappor Captor; able to edit and add information in the model
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work in an extremely fast-paced environment
• Ability to interface with multiple engineering disciplines
• Licensed P.E. in the state of Nevada or capability to port the existing license within 6 months
