Description

Join a team that develops and deploys its own Linux-based PBX solutions (LinuxBox PBX). You will implement and maintain IP exchanges and server infrastructure, diagnose SIP signaling and RTP/call-quality problems, and provide technical support to customers. If you know Asterisk, you can build on your experience right away.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and administer IP PBXs and server infrastructure
• Diagnose SIP signaling, RTP, and call quality issues
• Plan changes and develop customer installations
• Provide technical support to customers
• Collaborate on the development of company products
• Travel to customers in the Czech Republic (typically 0–1x per month)
• Service on-call (up to 1 week per month); handle incidents remotely (phone + laptop)

Requirements

• Practical experience deploying, administering, or providing advanced support for IP telephony
• Good knowledge of SIP and RTP fundamentals; ability to analyze signaling and find call-problem causes
• Linux and computer networks knowledge sufficient for VoIP operations and diagnostics
• Basic scripting knowledge
• Ability to work with technical documentation in English
• Valid category B driver’s license due to occasional customer visits
