Description

Maintain the analog and digital radio communication network, ensure operational and tactical connectivity, and support users through training and technical preparation. You will also install and repair communication equipment used by fire protection units and fire stations, ensure equipment readiness and servicing, and maintain records in the IKIS II information system.

Responsibilities

• Operate the analog radio network used by firefighters
• Manage communication technical resources and their operation in analog and digital radio networks
• Ensure organizational and technical communication at operational and tactical levels
• Deliver professional preparation in communications services and produce methodological materials for units
• Train and exercise users of communication equipment, including regular retraining for analog radios and PEGAS terminals
• Verify serviceability of communication resources and arrange servicing
• Install and repair communication equipment for fire protection operations and fire stations
• Record communication equipment in the IKIS II information system
• Manage, operate, and maintain the station public address system
• Drive a service vehicle during assigned duties and transport to incident sites

Requirements

• Minimum secondary education with a high school diploma (technical/electrical preferred)
• Czech citizenship and eligibility for service employment under Act No. 361/2003 Coll.
• Ability to obtain authorization for access to classified information of level “Vyhrazené”
• Technical thinking, independence, and responsible approach
• Interest in radiotechnology, electrotechnics, or communication technologies; ability to solve technical issues
• Willingness to further train in communications systems
• PC proficiency (MS Office)
• Driving license category B
